Being sensitive is not my weakness it’s my strength. The world often grades them as weak, but trust me to have a soft heart in this world is courage and not weakness. Sensitive people should be treasured because they love deeply, they are loyal honest and true, the simplest of all things means the most to them. They don’t need to change or harden, their purity makes them who they are. They give you excuses when you don’t explain yourself, they accept apologies you don’t give, they see the best in you when you don’t need them to. At your worst they lift you up, even if it means putting their priorities aside. The word ‘busy’ does not exist in their dictionary. They make time even when you don’t. And you wonder why are they the most sensitive, caring and giving without any expecting in return. It’s because they don’t make you work hard or the attention they give you, they accept the love they think they have earned and you accept the love you think you have been entitled to. Let me tell you something, fear the day when a good heart gives up on you, that day you would have failed as a person. Ours skies don’t become grey out of nowhere. Our sunshine does not allow the darkness to take over for no reason and a heart does not turn cold.
Today take a moment and try to figure out which way to go. One day or day one. You decide. The heart which took care of so much, so many, who will take care of that heart?Take this moment to appreciate such people around you. Life may seem really hard to those sensitive people but remember that’s only because you are a filter. you have put through yourself everyone’s darkness and so the darkness inside you weighs you down.
“If you pick a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man”
Relationships are that part of life, which unknowingly occupies a magnificent place in our hearts. It makes our lives ravishing, be it between two friends, a teacher and his student, a mother and her child or a dog and a man. A dog is the only thing on earth that loves us more than we love ourselves. They are far more faithful and loyal as compared to human beings. They care about us more than themselves, they rejoice in our happiness but we due to our human nature tend to underestimate them.
Numerous incidents have proved that dogs are superior to humans. A boy named David once found a little pup on the street. David nursed the lapsing pup, a few months later David passed away in an accident. the pup ran away from the home and even after a lot of investigation, was nowhere to be found. David’s mother used to visit her son’s grave frequently, what she found once was the little pup her son got home in his innocence, lying cold and out of breath near the grave of her son. David had offered a hand to the pup and in return the pup offered his life to him. Another remarkable story is of a dog who had lost his master, after the death of his master the dog used to sit outside the church patiently waiting for his owner to come unknown of the fact that the ship he is waiting for will never return to the harbor. the owner had found this dog at the church and so the dog had expectations from the same place. Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you have in mind. The wait of the dog was soon over, not because the owner walked up to him but because the dog walked up to the owner, to heaven.
Dogs enjoy a unique relationship with humans unlike any other species capable of serving our many whimsical and utilitarian needs. Dogs have been considered mans best friend and have certainly earned this title. they have helped us in so many ways and in expected little in return. Having a dog blessed me with the happiest days of my life and even the saddest. I didn’t lose a dog, indeed I lost a friend. the loss of this friend of mine left me lonely and gradually the grief and the pain is spreading. But today what I think of when i look back is not the pain but it is the joyous moments. I grew from that pain. I learnt to overcome the fear of losing people. for me my dog never died, they don’t know how to. They get tired, old and their bones hurt but they never say no to a walk. they are open to all the challenges which are thrown to them. they never dislike our company on the contrary, a walk with us is all that they need. my dog has not died, it has just fallen asleep in my heart and in there it is wagging its tail so fast which makes my chest hurt so much. Today, my dog lives in warmest place of all, my heart.
My dog has taught me to live each day with unbridled exuberance, to live in the moment and follow my heart, he has taught me to appreciate the simple things in life – a walk on the street, the fresh rain along with the gushing wind or be it just a nap in a shaft of summer sunlight. As he grew old and achy, he taught me about optimism in the face of adversity. Mostly, he taught me about friendship and selflessness and above all, unwavering loyalty.
